Tri County service company has an immediate opening for a Parts Runner - Tech support personGeneral Purpose Parts Supply delivery along with support for the Service Technicians. Responsibilities DutiesPart RunneroReplenish and maintain stock on service vans after office hours in provided transportation.oPerform transfers in inventory system for any stock moving on or off the service vans.oCommunicate with technicians and replenish supplies needed for their service calls.oAssist on occasional service calls as general labor.oPrepare pull parts orders for upcoming service calls.Shipping ReceivingoCount check in new parts orders by comparing them to packing lists.oReceive shipments into the inventory system.oReport discrepancies to Parts Manager.oPick out going customer orders for shipment.oPack outgoing shipments. oEnter outgoing orders into shipping software to create shipping labels.oStock shelves with received parts.Inventory controloKeep track of low inventory on shelves during picking process and report to Parts Manager. oAssign new stocked parts an inventory location and update inventory system.oMaintain inventory locations by assuring shelves are kept organized.HousekeepingoKeep work area and warehouse clean and orderly.Daily BackupoAnswer phones and assist parts customers with locating the correct parts for their repair situation.oServe as back-up to Service Department and help answer calls to schedule service. oEnter parts orders into order entry system. oEnter service call info into system for scheduling and dispatch.oAssist in all Daily Parts department operations.Accountability to for Others This position reports directly to the Parts manager and also receives general direction from the Technical Service Manager as well as the Office Manager. Requirements Position assignments require reading, mathematical, verbal and written communications, and windows based technical skills at an intermediate level. A high-school education is required in the position. Some on the job background is helpful. Msut be able to bend, twist and lift up to 60 pounds.
